1. The Hooded Seal is a species of earless seal found in the Arctic and North Atlantic Oceans.
2. Hooded Seals are the largest true seal in the North Atlantic, with males reaching up to 8 feet in length and weighing up to 600 pounds.
3. The most distinctive feature of the Hooded Seal is the inflatable hood that males develop on the top of their head during the breeding season.
